Private courses

Once a date and venue has been arranged, and payment has been received, clients will receive an email with final confirmation and detailed arrangements for the day. A course will not go ahead until full payment has been received.
If a course is delivered at a venue of the client’s choice, the tutor travel costs will be added to the fee.

Timings and Punctuality
We ask that all students arrive at the time specified on the course joining instructions, unless agreed otherwise. If students fail to show up after 40 minutes without telephoning, texting or emailing to alert the tutor or office as to their lateness, the tutor will leave the training venue.
If a student or group of students arrive late, the scheduled session will finish at the original stated time. In the unlikely event that the tutor is delayed, he/she will keep the students informed about expected arrival time and alternative arrangements will be made if deemed necessary by both parties.
Dress Code
Dress code is smart. The student accepts that failure to comply with the dress code could possibly result in training not taking place. No refund will be offered.
Named Tutors
Whilst we will do our utmost to allocate named tutors for private tuition, this cannot always be guaranteed due to the international nature of our work and retained clients. All our tutors are experts in their field.
Should a named tutor be unable to attend a booking due to sickness or a personal emergency, we will do our best to provide a substitute tutor and ask that clients be understanding. Only if The British School of Etiquette cannot provide a suitable tutor will a refund of any amount be valid.
